A single-momma's Ethiopian adoption blog... that became a married couple's pregnancy blog... that became a mostly-stay-at-home RN-Momma's orphan care blog. Who knows what's next?
Love those! Used about 5 or 6 on my trip. You might want to bring some that can be manually compressed (rather than requiring a vacuum, which you might not have access to)...
I have been wondering about these for traveling...is security at the airport OK with them? You know how they go through the bags and make a mess of things...it seems that these would help them not make a mess...but are they allowed?
Randy used them on his trip. He got the kind your can vacuum or manually compress. So we vacuumed them for the trip over. Not a problem at the airport. Then on the way back, he just manually compressed them Great for keeping dirty clothes contained. They were a life saver for carrying over the diapers for donations too. Since he only had 3 bags total for his trip.
We used those! Great purchase :). Even if you can't vacuum them out for the trip home, the air squeezes out nicely. Thanks for your kind, gentle words today on that yahoo conversation. I'm still on that group list but having a very hard time with it. You were kind and guiding to a woman who needed it, in the face of some other ugly responses. Just wanted to let you know that I noticed that. Have fun preparing!!! becca

Impressive! Plus it should keep your stuff dry if your suitcase gets soaked from the rain.
