How Do You Spell Relief?

W-E-E-K-E-N-D.

I don't know how to describe it, other than to say that there is a strange relief that comes over me each Friday evening since I've entered The Window.

It's the relief from the constant awareness of where my cell phone is and how far I am from the nearest Internet connection. It's the release from carrying my laptop and camera with me everywhere I go. It's the weight that's lifted when I know that I can go without mascara and stay in my jammies until noon. It's the relief of knowing that the next 2 days probably won't be life-changing.

And this weekend, it's three days of relief. Happy Memorial Day! And enjoy your weekend:)

i am feeling very much the same way today! i emailed natalie our renewed I-171H form we just received and got a response that she was out of the office until tuesday. it was strange, but i felt relieved that i didn't have to anxiously obsess about the phone ringing (until tuesday, of course)! have a great weekend!

But wait, there's still 20 minutes until close of business.... Once I heard they have called as late as 5:45!!!!

They've called later than that (as far as I can tell)...

BUT they left at 2pm today, so the weekend can officially start:)

I agree. My son even told me I check 'the computer' too much. That made me sad. So today, I only checked maybe 3 or 4 times.

Grace,
I keep checking your blog- several times a week to catch THE blog entry of blog entries entitled THE CALL or something of the likes... still waiting with you. Nope, not a Gladney family, just a CAFE Mama!! I wanted to let you know that I have "tagged" you on my blog and I would love to hear your answers if you find time!
Hope you and Abigail enjoy a leisurely weekend!
Blessings,
Holly
