Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.

I just came across you blog and am so happy for you!! I haven't finished reading, but intend to. :) When we first starting telling people we were adopting from Ethiopia...and that he was 11...we had many different responses. From family, it was concern for the "what if's", from friends came joy, and from non-Christians...WHY?!?! Are you INSANE?!?! After meeting him? No concerns from anyone and he even makes strangers cry with joy! I never knew he'd make such an impact to those around him! So, good luck and may God richly bless you for obeying His call even when it might not make sense to others. :)
